CLIFF HANGER SURVIVAL SITUATION

"A fun and engaging ice-breaking exercise designed to orient team members with one another, and to the process of measuring gains in team versus individual performance."

Participants first complete a series of questions as individuals, and then together with their team mates forming a basis for measuring the concept of synergy.

Altitude Adventure Expeditions is a small Mountain Guide company located in the town of Lillooet, and specializing in guiding novice climbers on expeditions in British Columbia's Coastal Range. You and several of your colleagues from the office have, in recent years, been getting together on your holidays for backpacking trips in the mountains. Recently, as a group, you decided to become more ambitious and to attempt some technical alpine climbing, and you chose Altitude Adventure Expeditions to guide you up British Columbia's highest peak, Mount Waddington.

As you begin to recover from the shock of losing your guide during an accident earlier that day, you realize that your survival will rely on working together, deciding on a strategy and making the most of the limited selection of equipment you have.

It's now noon and you realize that you won't be able to get off the mountain tonight. You and your group must survive the night on the mountain and decide on a course of action to ensure your continued survival until your return is considered overdue, and a search and rescue team comes to your aid.
