Michael R. Houle MBA, MA
Michael has spent the past 15 years in various management and senior management positions in the financial services industry. During the course of his past tenure, Mike has been responsible for leadership development, succession planning, external resource management and enterprise wide portfolio management. More recently, he acted as Vice President of Operations to an Irvine California based dot-com, specifically offering start-up, operational, human resource and organizational design leadership. Currently, Mike is providing developmental, technical and process direction for a crown corporation in its paradigm shift to a customer centric culture.
With an MBA from the University of Victoria (Services Management Specialization) and an MA from Royal Roads University in Leadership and Training, Michael is the author of two theses: Ground Zero to Base Camp - a Constructivist Exploration of the New Venture and Planning the New Venture - An Organizational Diagnosis. His research interests include new-venture development, human resource management, organizational design and diagnosis, quality and business process improvement.
