Colin Ewart BA, MSc, Cert. Ed., CQM

Colin has seventeen years' experience in private and public sector organizations in the United Kingdom and Canada. Trained as an educator, Colin has held management positions in the military, and recreation and telecommunications industries, and currently holds an executive role in a Crown Corporation, with responsibility for customer and supplier management, and organization-wide business transformation (including major functions outsourcing).

His areas of expertise include customer relationship management, quality management, strategic planning, and organizational change. He is a Certified Quality Manager (CQM) with the American Society for Quality, and has completed certifications in strategic planning and change management. Colin frequently acts as a strategic management consultant to companies and non-profit organizations regarding business strategy, customer focus, and change. Colin is an active participant in the Conference Board of Canada executive forum on Customer and Market Leadership and has been a guest presenter at Conference Board events focused on customer relationship management. He is currently completing a graduate qualification in Executive Coaching and is a member of CRMA Canada and the Association for the Advancement of Relationship Marketing (AARM).

Colin is co-founder of an Internet "start-up" media company, and was past-President of the Victoria Quality Council and past-Director of the Quality Council of BC. He is a faculty member with the Royal Roads University Leadership & Learning Collaboratory, in Victoria, B.C., with a focus on leadership in customer-focused organizations.
